We're both sad, happy and excited to announce that Powercraft Network in the current form will shut down.

Powercraft Network has officially run for exactly 6 months since we brought it back the 8th of August 2022. Since launching the network we have released 7 of our old servers, revamped and re-launched 3 servers, and launched 1 new server. Every time an old / new / revamped server launched we've seen a rise in our player activity on that server, only to see it die down again after a few weeks. It has been both mentally and physically challenging to do this over and over again, which is why we've decided to rebrand Powercraft Network into PowerCraft.

PowerCraft will not be a network, but a single Prison server with mines, dungeons, cops & robbers, minigames (duels, parkour, koth, etc) and tons of events. Instead of spreading out our players to multiple servers we're going to focus the following months into making a single AMAZING server with lots of high-quality content, which won't make our players get bored of it after a few weeks of playing. Prison has been in work since the end of 2022, and we have made significant progress since then, but there's still tons to do, and we really want to really take our time to make an amazing server. We're however not planning on letting anyone in on Prison at the moment, just me (Johandrex) and HundraKronor wants to, and will do most of the work for now. But later on we will need help beta-testing, building, and advertising the rebranded server. So if you want to help, contact us and we will be in touch at a later date.

The first two years I ran Raidcraft / Powercraft Network we averaged 5-20 players the first two years, and completely blew up from barely 20-30 to 200-500 players back in 2014. How did we blow up back in 2014? I have no idea to be honest, as we barely did any advertising except re-posting the server on Planet Minecraft and used Project Wonderful. There was however quite a bit of videos made on for example Skywars and Parkour that I think helped boost the activity quite a lot, other than that we got traffic thanks to players voting on the network, meaning we got higher up in the minecraft server lists (I believe we were in the top 25 - 50 servers at one point).

Really want the server to blow up like it did back in 2014, and the way to get there is obviously advertising. So we're going to heavily focus on advertising through both free (tiktok, youtube, twitter, instagram) and paid advertising (youtubers, server lists, google advertising). What we will focus the most on is TikTok, as that has been the way for new servers to blow up. CosmosMC gained thousands of players daily, just from TikTok around a year ago, and is now a huge server with 200-500 concurrent players. DonutSMP as well, despite being a shit-server (check it out), has blown up just from TikTok, they don't advertise in any other way, not even voting, and they receive 300-600 concurrent players. So we're going to focus a lot on creating lots of tiktok / youtube short videos. But we're going to contact youtubers, as well of course. So what can you look forward to after we have rebranded PowerCraft?

- Prison with custom enchantments / armor / tools, exciting mines, cells, plots and quests.
- Cops & robbers gamemode with a separate economy, with the same beloved map we have had, but additional guns, and stuff that is worth grinding for.
- Dungeons, at least 10+ dungeons with custom / challenging bosses and quests.
- Constant competing, where you will compete in activities like top kills, top blocks mined, top escapes, and more to win top-tier prizes.
- Mini-Games like Duels, Parkour and Koth.

Keep in mind that we're still in the early stages of development, and will continue to take our time to craft the perfect server! The current servers will still be accessible, even when Powercraft Network becomes PowerCraft, but won't receive any updates or support.
